Despite, the pandemic year top 3 performers on SDGN including Bangladesh
Sustainable Development Report 2021 declared that among the countries Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Cote Ivoire dramatically progressed despite the pandemic year. According to the report, the South and East Asian countries improved more on SDGs than other regions since 2010. By contrast, Venezuela, Tuvalu, and Brazil are most declined on SDGs than any other country. In the report, the 2021 SDGN index 63.5 has been scored by Bangladesh and ranked 109th . Finland has been ranked 1st with a score of 85.9. On top five countries four other countries are Sweden(85.6), Denmark(84.9), Germany(82.5), and Belgium(82.2). In South Asia, Bhutan(70), Maldives(69.3), Sri Lanka(68.1), Nepal(66.5), India(60.1), Pakistan(57.7) and Afghanistan(53.9) owned 75, 79, 87, 96, 120, 129 and 137 respectively. However, this is the first time the global SDGs index score has turned down since the adoption of the SDGs 2015.
